Goose River Field Notes
Goose River Field Notes is the result of fifteen months of photographing the three-mile Goose River in Rockport, Maine, that begins in the mountains, flows through my backyard, and ends in the sea. The themes are time and personal history. My observations of geology, botany, wildlife, hydrology, weather, geomorphology and memories are captured in the field notes.
I am grateful for Richard Reitz Smith’s help with design, Cig Harvey’s eye for sequencing the photographs and Nick at Conveyor Studio which printed the book.
The book is hardbound, 72 pages, 10” x 12’’ and contains 32 color photographs and 15 essays.
There are 12 copies remaining from the limited-edition press run of 100. A copy can be purchased for $40 by contacting me at judithodell86@gmail.com
